Life Has a Lot of Pieces.
You Don't Have to Figure Them All Out at Once.
Relationships. Family. Career. Identity. Stress. Heartbreak.
And that one piece — the one you keep picking up, putting back down, and pretending you don’t see.
Yeah. That one.
Welcome to A Piece of Peace, a therapy and coaching practice founded by Nieesha Prince, LCSW-S. Come as you are. We’ll figure out the pieces from there.

Meet Nieesha
Therapist. Straight Shooter. Fellow Human.
Hi, I’m Nieesha Prince, LCSW-S, founder of A Piece of Peace.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas, with more than 18 years of experience working in medical, healthcare, inpatient, outpatient, and mental-health settings. (Virginia reinstatement pending; Florida and Illinois licensure pending — I’m not currently accepting clients in those states.)
Over the years, I’ve worked with people from many different backgrounds who were navigating relationships, stress, loss, major life changes, mental-health concerns, and those moments when life simply wasn’t going according to plan.
And if there’s one thing all those years have taught me, it’s this:
People need a place where they can be real.
A place where you don’t have to have the perfect words. Where you don’t always have to be the strong one. Where you can finally say, “Okay…let me tell you what’s really going on.”
That’s the kind of space I want A Piece of Peace to be.
Are we going to talk about your feelings? Absolutely. But we're also going to talk about what you're doing with them.

WORKSHOPS & TRAINING
Real conversations. Practical tools. Minimal professional fluff.
Not sure what you need? That’s okay.
- A place to put it down
- Therapy
Because "I'm Fine" Can Only Carry You So Far.
You’re working. Taking care of people. Handling responsibilities. Showing up.
But sometimes we become so good at functioning that nobody realizes we’re struggling. Sometimes we don’t realize it either.
This is where you process what hurts, understand what keeps repeating, and decide what comes next. Therapy gives you somewhere to put some of that down.
"I'm here to support you—but I'm also going to challenge you."
The logistics, plainly stated.
All therapy sessions are virtual (telehealth) and available to clients physically located in Texas.
Insurance accepted: Aetna, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Baylor Scott & White Health Plan, Curative, and more. Your cost depends on your individual insurance benefits, deductible, copay, coinsurance and contracted rate.
Also available through Tava Health and Headway. Check either platform to see if your plan covers sessions.
A Piece of Peace is not a crisis service. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911.
Is Therapy My Piece?
- Is what I'm experiencing affecting everyday life?
- Do I need help processing something painful?
- Am I experiencing significant emotional or mental-health symptoms?
- Do I want help understanding patterns I keep repeating?
- Do I need professional mental-health treatment rather than coaching?

The LHR Method™ — What You'll Actually Do
Love, Honor, and Respect aren't traits you're born with or without. They're practices — things you do on purpose until they become how you move through the world. And they start with you. You can't offer anyone a steady love you don't practice on yourself. You can't honor someone else's boundaries if you've never set your own. That's the whole method: build it inward first, then carry it outward.
Starting with the voice in your own head. You'll learn to catch your inner critic, separate the useful signal from the shame, and start speaking to yourself like someone worth coaching instead of punishing. Then you'll take that same care into your relationships — without abandoning yourself to keep the peace.
Getting clear on what actually matters to you (not what you were told should matter). Naming your needs without apologizing for having them. Setting boundaries you can actually keep — and keeping them.
Building self-trust through small promises you keep, then bringing that steadiness into hard conversations, real accountability, and repair that doesn't center you.
The inward work. Six weeks on your relationship with yourself:
- Week 1 — The container. What coaching is (and isn't), your starting snapshot, and the agreements we'll hold together.
- Weeks 2–3 — Love of self. Turn your inner critic into an inner coach. Reclaim your story and identity — decide what you carry forward and what you set down.
- Weeks 4–5 — Honor of self. Clarify your values, name your needs without shame, and design boundaries you can actually hold.
- Week 6 — Respect of self. Build self-trust through small, kept promises — proof you can count on you.
You leave Foundations with a kinder internal voice, clear values, working boundaries, and evidence that you can trust yourself.
The full arc. Everything in Foundations, then the outward work — carrying the pillars into your relationships:
- Week 7 — The bridge. Map your recurring relationship patterns and find the exact spots where you actually have a choice.
- Week 8 — Love of others. Care without self-abandonment — love people without disappearing.
- Week 9 — Honor of others. Dignity, difference, and consent — honoring people who aren't like you without surrendering yourself.
- Week 10 — Respect in conversation. A clear framework (CLEAR: Context, Lived impact, Essential need, Ask, Receive) for hard talks that preserve everyone's dignity.
- Week 11 — Accountability and repair. A five-part repair sequence — name it, own your part, change the behavior, give space — without demanding forgiveness.
- Week 12 — Integration. Your 90-day living practice plan, built from real evidence of how far you've come.
You leave the Journey with everything from Foundations, plus the ability to navigate conflict, communicate clearly, repair ruptures, and stay connected to yourself while loving other people well.
