Getting Started
What is A Piece of Peace?
A Piece of Peace is a culturally responsive therapy and coaching practice founded by Nieesha Prince, LCSW-S. It brings therapy, Peace Within Coaching & Groups, LCSW supervision, immigration evaluations, and workshops together in one place—so you can start with whichever piece you’re holding right now.
Who is Nieesha Prince?
Nieesha is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-S) with more than 18 years of experience across medical, healthcare, inpatient, outpatient, and mental-health settings. She’s known for being compassionate and straightforward: “Are we going to talk about your feelings? Absolutely. But we’re also going to talk about what you’re doing with them.”
Which states do you serve?
Nieesha is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas. All therapy sessions are virtual (telehealth) and available to clients physically located in Texas. Virginia reinstatement is pending, and Florida and Illinois licensure is pending — she is not currently accepting clients in those states.

Therapy & Insurance
What can we talk about in therapy?
Anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, grief and loss, relationships, life transitions, self-esteem, family concerns, emotional overwhelm, past experiences, and the patterns that keep repeating. If it’s weighing on you, it belongs in the room.
How much does therapy cost?
Individual Therapy (50 minutes) is $175. Extended individual therapy sessions (75 minutes) are $225. Pricing subject to change.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes—accepted plans include Aetna, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Baylor Scott & White Health Plan, Curative, and more. Your cost depends on your individual benefits, deductible, copay, coinsurance, and contracted rate. Sessions are also available through Tava Health and Headway; check either platform to see if your plan is covered. You can also request an insurance check.
How do I know if therapy is the right piece for me?
Ask yourself: Is what I’m experiencing affecting everyday life? Do I need help processing something painful? Am I experiencing significant emotional or mental-health symptoms? Do I want help understanding patterns I keep repeating? If you answered yes to any of these, therapy is a good place to start.
Peace Within Coaching & Groups
What's the difference between therapy and Peace Within Coaching?
Therapy is for healing, processing, and treatment—mental-health symptoms, emotional distress, clinical assessment, and diagnosis when appropriate. Peace Within Coaching is for learning, building, and practicing—personal-development goals, relationship skills, education, and accountability. Peace Within Coaching is separate from psychotherapy and does not provide mental-health diagnosis or treatment.
What is the LHR Method™?
LHR stands for Love, Honor, Respect: Love is how you care (connection, vulnerability, self-compassion, needs). Honor is how you value (worth, identity, values, integrity, standards). Respect is how you communicate and protect (boundaries, communication, accountability, conflict, repair). The LHR Method™ powers our Peace Within coaching programs.
What coaching programs do you offer?
Peace Within: Foundations is our six-week entry program (virtual). 1:1 coaching is $1,497 founding rate, or three payments of $550. Group coaching is $497 founding rate, or two payments of $275.
Peace Within: The LHR Journey is our twelve-week flagship (virtual). 1:1 coaching is $2,997 founding rate, or three payments of $1,100. Group coaching is $997 founding rate, or three payments of $365.
Foundations graduates may apply what they paid toward The LHR Journey.

What are the Peace Within groups?
Women’s Circle is about loving yourself without losing yourself and meets Tuesdays, 6:30–8:00 PM CT (virtual). Brotherhood offers real conversations for BIPOC men and meets Thursdays, 6:30–8:00 PM CT (virtual). Each cohort is limited to 6 participants.
Group pricing uses a self-select sliding scale—no proof required: Standard $497, Supported $397, or Community $297. There is a maximum of 1 Community seat per 6-person cohort.

What is a Peace Within Clarity Session?
Not ready for the full program? Start with one session. The Peace Within Clarity Session is a 60-minute virtual session for $175. It’s limited to one Clarity Session per person, and the full $175 is credited toward any Peace Within program when you enroll within 14 days.

Is coaching in person or virtual?
All coaching is virtual for now. The Clarity Session, Foundations, The LHR Journey, Women’s Circle, and Brotherhood are all held virtually.
When does the first cohort start?
Enrollment opens Friday, November 27, 2026. The first cohort begins the week of Monday, January 11, 2027.
Professional Services
Do you offer LCSW clinical supervision?
Yes. Supervision covers clinical judgment, assessment and treatment planning, ethics, documentation, risk assessment, boundaries, cultural responsiveness, professional identity, and career development. Individual supervision is $100/hour; group supervision is $300/month per supervisee. Now enrolling for a January 2027 start.
What's included in an immigration evaluation?
A clinical interview, record review, psychosocial history, mental-health assessment, appropriate screening measures, authorized attorney communication, and a professional written report. Evaluations start at $900; expedited and complex evaluations may involve additional fees. Offering services in 2027.
Workshops & Training
Who do you offer workshops for?
Workplaces, churches, universities, nonprofits, conferences, community organizations, professional associations, and ERGs. Topics include Boundaries Without the Guilt, Communication That Connects, Emotional Wellness in BIPOC Communities, Burnout, Emotional Intelligence in the Workplace, and more.
How much does a workshop cost?
Virtual workshops start at $500, 60–90 minute in-person workshops start at $750, and half-day trainings start at $1,500. Customized organizational programs are quoted by proposal. Tell us about your event.
